Video Projection with 64 VLC instances

In 2015 M2X helped realising a projection system with VLC media player. The location is a ski-tunnel high up in the mountains. The video projection runs 64 VLC instances doing synchronous playback.

The projection system is mounted on the ceiling of the tunnel with projectors pointing to the tunnel walls. Each projector is attached to an embedded system running a VLC media player instance that plays a video. Each VLC instance plays its video perfectly in sync with its neighbours.
